What a waste! “Yojiya Café” cappuccino♪
It is freezing every day in the cold winter. The best way to stand the chill weather should be having a cup of hot drink!
When it comes to the famous blotting paper in Kyoto, “Yojiya” is definitely the choice. But do you know “Yojiya” also operates café business? Cake and parfait are needless to say, they also serve salad, pizza, pasta, etc., cool!
The dishes offered in the menu are all good, so actually I have been there for a few times. And the one I recommend most is the cappuccino, which has 2 flavours, regular and matcha. So what’s special for that? It’s the latte art ― the face of “Yojiya”!
When the cappuccino was served, the face was complete without defects. Of course you cannot stand not taking a picture of that perfect face LOL!
The faces were basically the same, but the faces had slanty eyes, or the mouth was a little pouted, due to the difference of the amount of milk. Catching the differences on the faces was quite fun. I enjoyed my coffee time while I kept thinking how to drink so as to keep the face complete without breaking it.
Yojiya café has 4 shops in Kyoto.
The Sanjo shop, Gion shop, Ginkakuji shop and Sagano-Arashiyama shop. Each has their shop limited menu respectively. So if you visit around those places, please take a look!
Apart from café, they have coffee products and cosmetics products with great varieties. That can be a good place for you to get some souvenirs.
